The US Department has released a selfie image taken by an American pilot which shows the Chinese spy balloon that was down earlier this month.
The selfie, taken by the pilot of a spy plane, shows the shadow of the aircraft on the balloon and a clear photo of the latter’s payload as it crossed the US.
The balloon was retrieved off the coast of a beach in South Carolina. The picture, which was released Wednesday and was taken the day before the balloon the down, inside the Pentagon.
These aircraft would be able to capture high-quality images of the balloon and may have been able to jam the device from communication to any satellites.
